What We Did
Saint Luke Catholic Church in Mint Hill, NC. 52’ span Douglas Fir Trusses in a modified Scissor style configuration for the sanctuary and fit well with the simple strength of the space. The truss connections are all made using traditional wood joinery fastened with wooden pegs. A hip/valley truss allows for the “L” transition to form a separate space for smaller gatherings. The ceiling utilizes 3×6 Southern Yellow Pine T&G Roof Decking.
